I wanted to take a stab at making Barbie look like a real girl like I did with Ken on day 1.  Well, Barbie is just too perfect and I just didn’t find that moment where I felt connected to her in my images.  I gave it a good ole college try but I feel I failed miserably.  It may have something to do with the fact that I really don’t like how the media (and society) try to make women look perfect.  Give me a woman with those beautiful “defects” any ole day and I will be much happier appreciating her artistic beauty instead of the perfect, Photoshoped woman.

Now what is crossing my mind right now is how come Mr. Ken can be perfect and I can feel connected to him but Barbie can’t and I don’t?  Maybe something I need to go deeper with.
